Shorter showers

  • The longer the shower, the more water used – simple.
  • One minute shower with warm water uses more energy (2.6 kWh) than lighting the house for a day (5×8 W LED’s for 16 hours is 0.7 kWh)
  • A normal shower uses 15-18 liters of water per minute. If a shower lasts 5 minutes as opposed to 10, the reduction is about 22,000 liters per year. In a family of four, this means a water saving of over 87,000 liters annually

a global water crisis

The Spanish authorities declared a national emergency. Mexico City is suffering from an exeptional water shortage. Zambia warns of national catastrophy (Water action | UNEP 21 March 2024)

  • Experts are calling these symptoms of a global water crisis. At least 50% of the total population of the world (4 billion people) will face water shortage at least once a month and by 2025 about 1.8 billion people will face complete lack of water.
  • Showers account for about 20 percent of the water used and are typically the third-largest use of water in the average apartment after toilet flush and laundry.
Southern European countries will have summers of serious water shortages whereby they have to limit the availability of water – either by closing the taps or through pricing.

A mandatory or voluntary technical installation or similar “heavy” technology into the shower systems in each household will not be a global solution. These are costly, require a specialist to install and are labour heavy, which is not possible in most part of the world.  The world needs a simple and cheap solution.

Our Services

Water saving

Water crisis is a reality, and saving water is crucial across all Europe, especially in the south. Households play a critical role in water conservation, and one of the simplest methods is to cut down on showering times.

Energy Saving

Energy conservation is in everyone’s interest. Reducing the amount of heated (in the north) or cooled (in the south) water for showers is a straightforward way to achieve this.

Data Utiliztion

Data from shower use provides housing companies, landlords, and authorities with valuable insights into water and energy consumption. This knowledge allows them to measure and act to educe consumption.

Shower pod sensor

Real time monitoring

The shower pod sensor continuosly monitors water flow and usage, gathering data on duration and volume.

Pre-Set Limits

Users can configure presets limits for shower durtation or water volume, triggering alerts if these limits are exceeded.

instant feedback

The sensor provides immediate feedback to users throught visual or audtiory alerts, encougeraging conscious water consumption.

Data transmission

The sensor transmits collected data wireless to the user's smartphone, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis
